ColorOS does have a lot of interesting features including downloadable UI themes, customisable navigation keys, multiple options for swipe-based navigation, gesture and motion shortcuts, a Private Safe for securing private files and apps, a timed Kid Space with app and feature restrictions, Clone Apps, and Game Space to optimise performance and reduce interruptions while gaming.

There are some innovative privacy and security protections, such as the ability to spoof a blank contact list, calendar, messages app and call log when certain apps require access to these.

Apps can be protected so that only you can access them using a passcode, fingerprint, or face. There’s a blacklist and a whitelist for calls and messages, plus notification management to reduce harassment.

The Reno 10x Zoom is bulky and awkward to handle, especially when using the included protective cover. Its weight makes holding it up to take photos and video quite uncomfortable after a while.

That said, the huge notch-less screen is very well suited to watching videos and for playing games. Colours are vibrant and pop nicely, and viewing angles are very good.

Even with the brightness only halfway up, everything is clearly visible outdoors. The only downside is that the screen surface is super reflective.

The earpiece acts as a second stereo speaker, which is always a good feature to have. Sound is loud, though not very rich or clear at high volume.

The only times we felt even a little hesitation were when using the in-display fingerprint sensor and the pop-up front camera, both of which just make you wait just a tiny bit before you can actually use the phone.

The raise-to-wake and double-tap-to-wake gestures buried in the Settings app help with this to an extent. Our single-core and multi-core Geekbench scores were 2, and 10, respectively.

As for real-world gaming, both PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends ran at the highest settings and were great fun to play, thanks to this phone’s processor, screen, and speakers.

We got through a full day of heavy usage with about 25 percent power left. Starting at about 9am, we used the cameras heavily, played games for half an hour, streamed a few hours’ worth of video, and spent a few more hours online.

That got old quickly, the Nexus is dying and not dependable, and half of my apps would cause it to restart. I needed a new phone, and I wanted something affordable yet quality.

I used to love my Motorola phones back in the day I treasured my pink Razr lol so when the G7 series recently were released, they definitely caught my eye.

My main issue with any phone ever is battery life, so the G7 Power was a no-brainer for me. Unfortunately, the US version wasn’t the most impressive for me.

Then I found this beauty. Same specs as the G7, but still with that mAh battery. Can I just say that the Violet is out of this world gorgeous?!

The photos do not do it justice. It is a fingerprint magnet though, as the one photo demonstrates, but it came with a clear case so no biggie.

Oddly enough, this phone has the biggest screen I’ve ever owned, yet feels smaller than both my iPhone 7 Plus and the Nexus 6. It’s very narrow, which is taking some getting used to.

I have tiny hands, so it’s actually really nice, and it fits nicer in my pockets which as a tiny woman, I only get access to tiny pockets in my clothes.

Beyond the aesthetics, this is a pretty beastly phone imo.

All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase. The only reason I knocked off a star is the missing NFC. I see no reason to leave it out, they are standard in almost every other phone out now.

I’ll live without it, but it would’ve been nice. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with this version. TL;DR: This phone is awesome, and buying international unlocked phones is so much smarter than buying overpriced American phones.

Welke tablet kopen? Prima tablet voor dat geld, er zijn er weinig voor dat geld die dan gelijk al met android 7 worden geleverd.

Natuurlijk zijn er wel wat minimale nadelen die je kan verwachten in deze prijsklasse. Waaronder: Niet de snelste, alleen 2,4 ghz wifi met maar 1 antenne.

Touchscreen is iets minder gevoelig. Maar voor het doel waar ik hem voor had aangeschaft is absoluut voldoende. Het aansturen van al mijn verschillende media producten en domotica.

Overigens ook surfen, mailen, enz.

Dus prima voor een filmpje, Facebook, mail, spelletje. Je kan ook meerdere accounts aanmaken, handig. De camera is leuk, maar de kwaliteit niet echt fantastisch.

Daarnaast heeft deze Lenovo een bijzonder krachtige accu die erg lang meegaat! Veel mensen geven aan dat dit een aardig gemiddelde huis, tuin en keukentablet is, maar ik vind de kwaliteit echt boven gemiddeld.

Spelletjes spelen, Netflix kijken, mail checken, alles kan en alles doet het prima, en snel. Ik ben echt zeer tevreden en hoef echt geen duurdere tablet.

Prima apparaat. Accu met lange stroomvoorziening. Doet niet onder voor mijn eerdere Samsung.

Goede en handige tablet. Wel jammer dat de wifi-verbinding wat langzaam is en dat hij geen 5ghz ondersteunt. De kwaliteit van de camera heb ik niet gecontroleerd, want daar heb ik hem niet voor aangeschaft.

Dit is voor mij een extraatje. Dit is een zeer degelijke basis tablet. We hebben deze specifiek voor de kinderen gekocht. Samen met een passende kinderhoes is deze daarvoor ideaal.
