I don’t know how close it is to srgb exactly, but it looks much better to me. Its a custom rom that replaces MIUI and looks similar to vanilla stock android.

You can use it out of the box although its not recommended since who knows that else the seller might have installed with the rom.

You can download and reflash assuming the bootloader is unlocked because how else would they be able to flash Mokee yourself although I’ve read some questionable things about Mokee rom in general.

HK Goldway is a bit weird with the roms now. I had an order going for Max 3 before cancelling as I learned about the forthcoming global version release.

In the initial order I’d requested that they keep the box sealed. I received a reply that they always open the box to check that the phone is working and install a global rom; that it’s their system and any deviation from it slows things down; that if I was not ok with it, I could cancel.

I then asked if the global rom they used was an official one. Another person replied that it wasn’t, but they could send the phone sealed as I’d originally requested.

Speakers themselves are nice. But the setup is awful.

These are older screenshots, because I don’t have it on me now, but this is typical battery life for this thing for me. Both are insane.

Stereo speakers. I charge it once a week with occasional use this is like 2 hours a day, a bit more maybe? Not only its SOT is fantastic hrsbut its battery consumption under deep sleep is extremely low.

This is me, though. I was not interested in the Plus as it found a 10 inch tablet to be too big. Mom still uses an old Galaxy Tab 2 Hard to wait when nobody knew it was coming.

I wanted a tablet comparable to the size of my Nexus 7 The plus is a landscape tablet and too big. These are average prices I’m seeing for this device on AliExpress and wasn’t sure if that was a normal price.

Hopefully it releases somewhere other than China soon, which should mean a global rom will come with it. Yeah, that would be the best option.

20.01.2020 – One of the promo photos in an article I read had a stylus pictured, but I never read anything definitive one way or the other. Mi A1 Android One variant [27]. Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A Games, e-books, and videos are more vibrant, clearer and bigger than ever on Mi Pad’s 7. The sensors and touchscreen worked well during our tests and without any issues.

Display is fine though it ships with a matte screen protector installed by default. I haven’t removed it from the tablet. How does it look when watching videos or reading in a dark room?

Display is good for media consumption. Please note that, there’s a matte screen protector installed out of the box. You may or may not like it.

More importantly though, how is the contrast for pure blacks on the screen? Can you take a picture of the tablet watching a letterboxed video in a dark room?

The contrast is pretty good.

I kinda despise amoled panels for reading because of their horrendous pwm can be as low as hz. The mi pads have always had spectacular displays.

I’m still on my mi pad 2 and I marvel everyday at how good it looks. I never sell “Nexus” devices bruh. I love the niche of devices from Google.

Do you have any example file? The only H movies I have are low-bitrate HD stuff. It works very, very nice. VP9 does too. The image quality is simply astonishing.

It doesn’t play 4k at those formats, though. Bear in mind this is a p tablet, so anything above p is a waste of resources.

Is this the 8 inch tablet? Difference looks about 60 dollars. Android tablets don’t have too many apps optimized for it right?

Codecs are an issue sometimes on Windows so I wondered if Android had something similar. Also I was curious if there would be any stuttering and such.
